Alexander is an audiobook platform featuring original non-fiction stories by Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, narrated by Academy Award-winning talent.
My involvement began as an intern at Studio Kiln, helping expand the brand identity across social media and advertising. Now, as a freelance lead designer, I refined the visual identity, developed marketing assets, and enhanced motion and type systems to showcase Alexander’s unique stories and narrators.

Alexander is an audiobook platform offering original, long-form non-fiction stories by Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, narrated by Academy Award-winning talent. Inspired by the Great Library of Alexandria, it bridges the traditional and modern, with stories available in text and audio formats. Each story is accompanied by a bespoke video, with contributions from notable creators like Gabriel Moses, Frank Lebon, and Lane & Associates.
During my internship at Studio Kiln, I helped expand the refreshed brand identity, focusing on its Instagram presence to showcase the variety of stories and highlight its USPs—award-winning narrators and a dedication to championing authors. Through dynamic social media and advertising assets, I positioned the platform as a vibrant celebration of storytelling.
As a freelance lead designer for Alexander, I’ve further refined its identity—enhancing motion and type systems, visual layouts, and assets for newsletters, advertising, and CRM marketing. This work ensures Alexander continues to stand out as a space for discovery and creativity.
Central to the identity is its custom typography—a blend of the serif typeface Alexander, evoking classic book design, and a bold sans serif, symbolizing modernity. The platform’s character, Alex, embodies its ethos of curiosity and inclusivity.
While my contributions focus on branding, advertising, and marketing, I have not been involved in the app, website design, or story promotional videos.
