Experience

Alexander Technology and Media Ltd
Freelance
Feb 2024 — Current
Remote, Paris/UK
Following my internship at Studio Kiln, I joined Alexander as the lead designer, focusing on refining the brand identity and expanding its visual application. My work currently involves developing social media assets, enhancing motion and type systems, evolving visual layouts, and creating assets for newsletters, advertising, and CRM marketing. I’m proud to help position Alexander as a standout platform for creative storytelling and discovery, ensuring its brand remains engaging and distinct.

Nixon Design
Internship
Jul — Aug 2024
Hayle, UK
Working with the Nixon team on a range of people-focused and place-oriented projects, while developing their visual identity as they begin a new chapter.

Epoch
Internship
Jul 2024
Bristol, UK
After attending the Academy Day in April, I was invited to join the strategy team for 2 weeks. I developed brand positioning for various FMCG products. This role involved understanding market trends, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscapes. I researched and shared strategic insights, and discovered new processes to position brands across different markets.

Epoch
Academy Day
Apr 2024
Bristol, UK
I was invited along with 30 other students from across the UK to take part of Epoch’s Academy Day.  The day consisted of taking a well-known but stagnant brand, and re-strategising it to appeal to a new audience. There was also free food, so that’s a massive plus.

Studio Kiln
Internship
Jul — Aug 2023
Penryn, UK
Working alongside Creative Directors Charlie Hocking and Nathan Smith, I developed the visitor publication guide for the 2023 RTS Cambridge Convention ‘Too Much To Watch‘ (featured in ItsNiceThat, Brand New, Creative Boom). The publication required a keen attention to detail, awareness of print production, and an understanding of typographic standards. I’m proud to have contributed to a publication that guided and informed over 350 industry leaders.

I played a role in the evolution of Alexander, an award-winning long-form audiobook platform featuring original stories from celebrated writers, narrated by academy acclaimed talent. Recognising the challenge of designing visuals for an audio-first medium, we developed a flexible design system that celebrates authors, narrators, and guests. The system leverages bold typography with a selection of motion pieces to foster the platform as an audio-first experience.
